About BundleStack
We buy the website builder + hosting bundles, open them, and publish what's actually inside — with the receipts.
Who we are
BundleStack is a small independent review site with one beat: the website builders that hosting companies pack into their plans. We buy the bundles at retail, build with them, keep the receipts, and write down what we find — including the parts the sales page leaves out. If a box is empty, we say the box is empty.
How we audit a box
Every review runs the same three checks, in the same order. The 3-year math: intro price times intro term, plus renewal rates for the remaining months, printed as one honest total — because the teaser figure on the pricing page is rarely the price. Renewal tracking: we record the renewal rate shown on the day we check, and when a figure cannot be verified directly we flag it and estimate conservatively instead of guessing in the vendor's favor. Capability walls: the things a bundled builder cannot do — export a site, install apps, run a serious store — documented per provider, because walls decide more purchases than features do.
Independence
We are not affiliated with, owned by, or sponsored by any hosting company or website builder. No vendor sees a review before publication, supplies a free account, or gets to argue with a score. When a product is bad, we say so and leave the review up — our lowest-ranked provider stays on the shelf as a warning label, not a courtesy listing.
How the site makes money
Some outbound links are affiliate links: if you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Commissions never touch rankings — we actively advise against at least one product that would happily pay us, and we link to products that pay us nothing when they are the right answer. The full policy is in our affiliate disclosure.
Contact
Spotted a price that has drifted, a renewal rate that changed, or a box we have not opened yet? Tell us through the contact page — pricing corrections go to the top of the pile, and we would rather fix a number today than defend it tomorrow.
