Best Website Builder + Hosting Bundles 2026, Ranked
Every host now packs a website builder into the box. We opened all six major builder + hosting bundles, itemized the contents, and ran the 3-year math — renewals included.
Contents
A website builder and hosting bundle is the cheapest defensible route to a real website in 2026 — provided you read the renewal line before you swipe. Every major host now packs a builder into the box, and on the shelf the boxes look identical: one low monthly price, a free domain for the first year, a checkmark promising a website builder inside. So we opened all six.
The contents vary wildly. One builder hosting bundle delivers the best editor in the category for $143.52 across four prepaid years. Another charges $1 a month for year one, then $20 a month from year two onward. A third box turns out to be empty — its builder quietly closed to new customers. Here is the full shelf, ranked, with the receipts stapled to each lid.
How we open a box
Same three tools, same order, every bundle. First, the 3-year math: intro price times intro term, plus the renewal rate for whatever months remain, totaled into one honest number. Hosts advertise the first figure and footnote the second; we print both, because renewals are where these products actually live. The full workings are in our true cost of a bundle over 3 years breakdown.
Second, renewal receipts. We record the renewal rate shown on the day we check — not the asterisk, not a cached FAQ. Where a figure could not be verified directly, we flag it and estimate conservatively rather than rounding in anyone's favor.
Third, capability walls: the things a bundled builder cannot do — export your site, install apps, run a real store. A wall you hit in month eight matters more than a template you admired in hour one. And if you are still deciding whether a bundle is even the right species of product for you, start with our guide to bundled vs standalone website builders.
The shelf: all six, side by side
Rankings weigh the quality of the bundled builder, the honesty of the pricing curve, and what happens if you ever want to leave. Full inspection notes on each box follow the table.

1. Hostinger — best builder, best math (9.0)
Hostinger Website Builder no longer exists as a separate product line — it is bundled with every paid hosting plan, which suits an inventory site fine, because the bundle is the story. Premium costs $2.99/month on a 48-month term: $143.52 prepaid, covering four full years before the $10.99/month renewal ever appears. That is the cheapest honest multi-year path on this shelf, and the roughly 3.7x renewal jump lands in year five rather than year two. Unlimited runs $3.99/month ($191.52 for 48 months), renews at $16.99/month, and adds the one thing Premium lacks: built-in ecommerce.
In the box on Premium: up to 3 websites, a free domain for year one, 2 mailboxes per site free for a year, 400+ templates, and the most modern editor of the six — plus a stack of AI credits we will acknowledge in passing and leave at that. Not in the box: an exit. Hostinger's own migration docs list builder sites as non-migratable — leave, and you rebuild from scratch. That is the single real knock on an otherwise excellent package. Full inventory in our Hostinger Website Builder review; the current 48-month rate is one click away if the math already convinced you.

2. Bluehost — the box you can repack (7.8)
Bluehost's 2026 builder is WonderSuite: an AI-guided, block-based builder with 1,000+ layouts that sits on top of WordPress rather than replacing it. That is the entire pitch. It feels like drag-and-drop, but the output is a standard WordPress site — which makes this the only bundle on the shelf you can pack up and carry to any other host on earth.
The math: Starter locks $3.99/month for 36 months — $143.64 for the full three years, within twelve cents of Hostinger — then renews at $9.99/month, the gentlest jump here at roughly 2.5x. Business is $6.99/month renewing at $13.99/month; eCommerce Essentials is $14.99/month renewing at $21.99/month with WooCommerce store tooling in the box.
Not in the box: a builder for people who do not want WordPress — everything routes through WP, maintenance included — and permanent email, since Pro Email arrives as a free trial rather than a freebie. Inspection notes in the Bluehost website builder review; the 36-month lock is where the price above lives.

3. IONOS — sealed until renewal (6.3)
IONOS MyWebsite Now is this shelf's cautionary label and, read carefully, one of its best short-term deals. The Plus plan costs $1/month for the first year — $12 total, with a free domain and genuine business email included, the cheapest first year in the industry. It then renews at $20/month. That is $12 for year one and $480 for years two and three combined: a 20x jump, the largest we track anywhere. Starter is $6/month renewing at $14/month; Pro is $17/month intro and, at the time of checking, appears to renew somewhere around $28–32/month.
In the box: the domain, email and SSL trio on every plan is legitimately good small-business kit, and Plus adds AI text, image and SEO tools. Not in the box: ecommerce, which lives in IONOS's separate Online Store track (though its 0% platform transaction fees are a genuine plus); design freedom, since this is the dated editor of the group; and any exit — IONOS's own help docs state that builder projects cannot be used outside IONOS infrastructure.
Our verdict: a superb $12 first year for the disciplined. Set the calendar reminder the day you buy. Inspection notes in the IONOS website builder review; the $1 first-year deal is here if you trust your future self.

4. Network Solutions (ex-web.com) — new label, surviving tech (5.5)
If you arrived here searching for web.com: the brand no longer exists. In June 2025, Newfold Digital folded Web.com into Network Solutions; the old address is now a splash page redirecting to a Network Solutions login. The builder technology survived the funeral — Network Solutions' AI Website Builder runs on what the company calls Web.com's award-winning technology, and the UX genuinely did win a Bronze Stevie Award.
The plans: Website at $4.99/month renewing at $15.99/month; Website + Marketing at $7.99/month renewing at $20.99/month, adding appointment scheduling and a Google Business Profile; Website + E-Commerce at $13.99/month renewing at $28.99/month with a full store, tax automation and inventory. No free tier, no free trial. The 3-year total on the base plan: $59.88 for year one, then $383.76 for the remaining two — $443.64, a 3.2x renewal bite.
No export path is documented anywhere we could find, so assume rebuild-to-leave. The builder itself is competent and the scheduling tier is genuinely useful — but between the renewal jump and a brand that changed names underneath its customers, this is a knowing buy or no buy at all. If it fits your needs anyway, the current Network Solutions plans are here — eyes open on that renewal line.

5. Namecheap — small box, honest label (5.0)
Namecheap's Site Maker is the shelf's flat-pricing outlier. Personal costs $3.88/month, or $38.88/year paid annually; Business is $8.88/month; there is a 14-day free trial and no permanent free tier. The interesting part is what we could not find: a renewal trap. No teaser-versus-renewal split is documented in any current source — at the time of checking, renewal simply appears to be the list price, which puts three years at around $116.64, plus a separately purchased domain.
The catch is the builder itself. Site Maker is a guided question-and-answer tool — fine for a brochure, bio or contact-page site, but reviewers consistently describe it as simple, limited and a bit outdated. No real store platform, no app ecosystem, and no export path documented. Cheap and honest, but the smallest box on the shelf; if that trade suits your project, Site Maker's flat pricing is the honest bottom of the market.

6. HostGator — the empty box (3.5)
We cut the tape and found packing foam. The Gator Website Builder is closed to new signups — the old builder page now redirects straight to a customer login. What a new customer actually gets is inexpensive shared hosting plus WordPress and some AI-flavored setup tools: the Hatchling plan runs roughly $2.75–$3.75/month intro depending on the week's promotion, renewing at $10.99/month on a 36-month term.
That works out to somewhere around $117 over three years — technically the cheapest figure on the shelf — but it is not a builder bundle anymore, and we will not score it as if it were. If you specifically want cheap WordPress hosting, HostGator is serviceable. If you want a bundled website builder, which is presumably why you are reading, buy elsewhere on this list.
When to skip bundles entirely
Bundles win on price and lose on ceilings, and some projects live above the ceiling. If you need serious design control or a template-first portfolio, Squarespace Basic costs $19/month billed annually since the July 2026 price rise — $684 over three years, with no renewal games. If you need bookings, memberships or an actual app ecosystem, Wix Core runs $29/month billed annually — $1,044 over three years.
Yes, that is four to seven times the price of a locked bundle. What the extra money buys is headroom: deeper commerce, real app markets, and never having to think about hosting contracts. Our rule of thumb: if you might outgrow the site, choose a portable WordPress bundle or a standalone; if it is a set-and-forget local-business site, the cheapest locked bundle wins. The verdict on the shelf
Category winner: Hostinger, and it is not close. The best editor of the six, the cheapest verified multi-year total, and a renewal cliff pushed out past year four. The lock-in is real — price it in before you commit, and if you cannot, take Bluehost's portable second place instead.
